How can you expect to sign Jagielka for £15 million? You do realise he is English and established Premiership talent?
£20 million before Everton even start considering a deal imo.
Agreed. £20 million
Phil Jones £16 million, Smalling £12 million both pretty much unproven, wouldnt sell Jagielka for a penny less than £20 if i was everton, especially if his contract has quite a bit to run so they have no risk of losing him

The best bit was last season Arsenal offered £12m for Jagielka and Everton told them it would take £20m, Arsenal went away and Jagiekla signed a four year deal.
So it comes round to this season and Wenger goes "Ok what about £11m?"
Dont think he quite gets this transfer market malarky

I think he's fucking clueless. Maybe he thinks a move to Arsenal will be more attractive to Jags and he'll ask for a transfer as last time we had won nothing....this time we have won.........oh still nothing.
We are the opposite of Liverpool tbh.
Everton say he will cost £20m.
Liverpool offer £50m

That will be it now.
Wenger will say "I tried to sign players but had no success"
Fucking offer £15m and get the player you french twat.
That actually is what it sounds like, making bids they know wont be accepted to try appease the fans, except it doesnt really work when you make an offer as little as that when everyone knows its going to take £20m+ to make them consider it.
May as well offered them £11 and a mars bar

I dont understand why he wont just offer the £20m for Jag now. It would be a big statement of intent and it MIGHT just might make some of the players at Arsenal think about staying.
Its spend £20m now and maybe actually challenge for something this season or dont, do nothing again and lose at £20m player in Nasri for free at the end of this coming season.
Make your choice Wenger

Should of been signing players before now to get them integrated in to the squad and a good pre-season under their belts.

TBH Everton probably class Arsenal as competitors for the 4th to 7th positions and for the player its more of a sideways move

Everton supposedly turned down 12m in January anyway, so they're not likely to accept less now are they?

He won't offer 20m because he isn't worth it. Wenger might of won Fuck all in years but he's not going to bend over and take it up the exhaust pipe

Barca have signed Sanchez, how are they gonna afford Fabregas from their 40m summer transfer budget?

If the price on Sky sports is true then he's a fucking bargain
Andy Carroll £35 million vs Alexis Sanchez for an initial £23million

Wenger is clown Jagielka won't sign for Arse. I'm a little surprised he even went after him as he's nearly 29. It sure does make a change from 16 year old brown boys

You seriously think Jagielka wouldn't want to sign for Arsenal if we stump up the money?

Of course he would. Wenger won't stump up the more cash for him.

Seconded. £20m would buy Gary Cahill, probably less than that too tbh.

With the market as it is he is well worth it.
He's won fuck all in years because he won't actually go out and buy proven quality to supplement a group of talented youngsters. Instead he signs more youngsters and creates team after team of potential that don't win anything

Indeed, yes they have been pretty competitive for years but if they are going to take it to the next level and win anything he needs to stop being so stubborn and a. put his hand in his pocket and b. come up with a plan b for when his 'total football' appraoch isn't working.
Saying that, I hope he sells Fabregas and doesn't buy anyone

Loads of skilful youngsters but no real men in the team.
