Went out last weekend house hunting, so thought I'd take a few pics in the countryside.
Very happy with how it sits now, with the eibachs and 12/20mm spacers on.
Also grabbed a photo with a bit of exotica at the local shopping centre. Typical dick parking on his part.
As said previously, I kerbed the NS rear alloy so need to get that redone. Also, my roof needs sorting as a piece of elastic has split, meaning that when it folds down, it overlaps the Bodywork on the OS. Not a good look, but the company are going to fix it.

Went and got my roof fixed today. It now no longer overlaps the Bodywork when folding down.
Weather was shocking. 54 miles each way. 2 hours to get there, 1 hour 30 mins to get home
Parked up down a private road as I forgot to test the roof out at the shop. It was pissing down, so testing was interesting thought I'd take a few pics also, whilst I was having a rest.
Really can't wait to get the Facelift rear conversion sorted. I still need to buy some light trims and get the bumper sprayed.

Love what you've finally done to this car. Looks spot on with the wheels and a nice red colour roof. Never been a huge fan of Z4s but I'd have this one.
Not sure if I've mentioned it before but I saw some guy with a z4 and his seats were miles better than the crap standard ones. Think he said they were z3 ones but not sure which model if they are different. Bolted straight in and made a massive difference to inside.

Not seen Z3 seats in a Z4 before, that would be a bit different! The sport seats which Gav has are much nicer, but also ridiculously expensive.
I"ve been watching RX8 seats on ebay as they fit with some tinkering and are much cheaper, but most sets are ropey and non heated.

Wonder if GT86 seats would fit.....
Do love these, still look surprisingly fresh for their age.

I think the rx8 seats are quite big, your not a short arse like most z4 drivers so I think you might struggle to get a comfortable driving position with them in. I simply wouldn't fit
I also agree you need a private plate

I keep meaning to get one. The one I want is £399, so not too expensive.

The z3 seats my dad has are horrible! Ok to look at (full black and dark
Green leather) but they're so uncomfy

Haven't updated in a while as I haven't had much to do to the car.
Roofs beading well after using the autoglym cleaner and proofer on it.
Also got a video, which shows the effectiveness of the proofer.
Gave the interior and leather a good clean.
Removed the rear bumper and cleaned up underneath. Good condition behind there, it was just dirty and the crash bar has surface rust which will need treating.
50/50, sort of.
Nice and clean.
Bumper trial fitted.
The profile of the bumper allows the fitment of the Facelift rear lights. It also has different lines so the rear end looks a little wider. Just need to get it sprayed, but it fits perfectly.
Took a photo in work. Front wing has a dent in it so that needs sorting out.
Hit 110,000 miles a few weeks back.
My mate brought his new motor into work, so got a pic of the 2 together.
And lastly, managed to get these for a bargain, complete with doorcards with yellow leather inserts.
Now obviously yellow and red would look weird together, so the plan is to either dye the yellow parts black (professionally, of course) or go ahead with a swap deal I've been offered for sport seats in red and red doorcards.
Watch this space...

Cheers Can't wait to get everything painted and fitted.
Seats turned up today. Took a pic before I started cleaning them. They're in decent enough condition.

Gave them a clean and condition using Gliptone liquid leather. They smell great now. Slight scuffmarks on the side bolsters, which is pretty much standard for Z4 seats. Nothing a bit of scuffmaster can't sort out.
I actually really like them if I had a black roof, they'd be going straight in.

First off, they're cushions, not pillows.
Secondly, it's not my.house.

Got them fitted to make sure they work. Electric and heated parts working fine. They're very nice seats and a massive improvement over the standard ones.
Quite like the colour scheme if I'm honest

The shape of the seats are so much better. Are the red ones you want all red or red where the yellow is? Hopefully it doesn't contrast badly with the red roof and be a totally different shade.
All black would be the best colour imo.
Also been looking at that new rear bumper and comparing it to your current one, can't see any difference at all ha. What's different about it?

Shouldn't work that but it does.
Bit like my colour scheme. So wrong it's right
