Where is the best place to get brake pads? Looking for new pads for some hope brakes.

Also what forums are people using with decent for sale sections?

Ive just had a fiddle with my gears, mtb was jumping out quite a bit. Seems to select them all fine now in the kitchen. Will take it for a spin tomorrow then give it a wash.

Another descent from today. No idea what the squeak noise is. Hopefully get an idea of how rocky and rough it was.

It's not the bike that concerns me, rather, the talentless fat fucking idiot atop of it....

Hit 3000 miles today since I started my LeJog training in April.... Total accent climbed just over 60,000 ft.

That's pretty much going to be it for this year --- stripped bike down today to clean, overhaul and fit new ultegra brakes(cheap on wiggle now) mudguards, rear pannier set. Garmin 810 - then going to clean all bits and put it all back together ...... Also changing all cables and outer cables and got some new bullet proof tyres while wiggle sale is on

My bike mechanic skills are shite - so this seemed a good time to learn by taking it to bits and putting it back together

Wiggle are seriously loving me right now

Yeah it's a long way as you know .... Improvement in my fitness has been ridiculous. I could still do with shifting a stone at least so really need to keep the diet going - but I am starting to really enjoy climbing now rather than avoiding it . Considering I couldn't cycle more than 10 miles in one go before this year I'm pretty chuffed with the base miles I have in me now... 50 miles is now a pretty easy ride(unless it's all up hill)

Don't buy pads from superstar, I bought some of their Kevlar pads, worst pads I've ever had, spend the extra and buy some hope pads.

Struggling with a major thigh strain today. Odd really as it's not like I pushed myself yesterday at all. First time I've ever had this. Leg night in the gym tonight may not happen.
