DMR Vault pedals with Danny M Five Tens are where it is at, super grippy!
Dad is selling his Fox Rampage Pro Carbon Matte Black helmet. Bought it, size isn't right (thought it might bed in on the trail but didn't). Grab yourself a bargain if you need a new DH lid!

2 hours on a spinning bike? How many miles did you do?
'Cause it is constant pedaling and no breeze, I'm done after 20 - 30 mins. Would have completely dehydrated!

just short of 50 miles. i did an interval programme for an hour then a cardio building programme for an hour. drank over a litre of water but then i do when I'm biking outdoors anyway.
one of the programmes asks you to do jumps on a hill, which confuses the shit outta me as i try and stop the pedals like i am actually doing it for real, the spinning bike doesn't like that lol.

Picked up my new bike on Saturday; I went with the Cannondale Trail 6 in the end. Been for a couple of rides already and it's great. Roll on next weekend when I'm going with a mate for a blast round Swinley forest.

Well took the mutt for it's first proper trail run today and videoed it with my shite Lidl "action cam"
She did quite well TBH didn't get under the wheels as bad as I feared and would follow whoever we told her too quite well. She scared the shit out of a pair a walkers by going up for a sniff as we went past. They looked fucking mortified at a dog off it's lead. Did 11 miles which by the end she was getting a bit knackered, but she'll sleep tonight.
Clicky wicky for vid innit

Here's my bike, an old 1970s Carlton. Got the old style gear shifters which I like.
Frame was showing its age so previous owner had it stripped and powdercoated and all other parts cleaned. Runs like a dream for its age.
Use it to commute 9 miles a day for work so is perfect for the job.
Sorry for bad pics.

Anyone recommend some decent cheap road bike shoes?
Seen the Shimano R064 that seem to get good reviews and they're cheap. Or there's some £90 muddyfox shoes at sportsdirect reduced to £30.
Also can anyone recommend some decent pedals and cleats for a combined price of around £30-£50? I've heard delta cleats are the ones to go for.

I have these and can't fault them http://www.tweekscycles.com/Product.do?method=view&n=3390&g=330193&p=330235&c=215&utm_source=Google&utm_medium=Base&utm_campaign=Road%20Bike%20Shoes&gclid=CJWbi7HLprsCFWEOwwodVxkALg
might be a bit chilly for winter riding as they have a lot of air vents.

as for shoes its all personal preference. I have Northwave carbon soled road ones as my bests and some £50 quid diadora ones for other jobs.
Both as comfy just the more you pay the lighter and stiffer they get

Take a look at some 2nd hand bikes, you'll get a lot more for your money.
