LMAO you bunch of lovely cunts.
I appreciate that different people like different things but FFS try and be objective with your opinions instead of 'its shit...' It makes for a better thread.
With regards to professional reviews I think Empire gave 'Hitman' 1 star but I personally rated it much higher so occasionally I guess I like something that is deemed a 'shitter' by critics.
Objectivity people...

That is such an ironic statement, given your take on Michael Bay and his movies.
They are hyped up and have massive budgets thrown out them, does not make them good in my eyes. The particular Michael bay films that I reference have also been poorly received by critics.
Widely accepted that apple products are 'good'.

This is a hard one to judge. It's essentially a western-meets-martial-arts mash up. It's Sin City on LSD if directed by Baz Luhrmann.
Very interesting visuals that I quite enjoyed. The story is weak and heavily relies on quite a few combat scenes that unfortunately get quite repetitive and, at a few instances, are just downright silly.
There are a lot of fantastic characters, but none of them seem to get just enough screen time for you to get to know them other than superficially.
It's worth a watch for the visual style alone.
There you go an objective review. To all the miserable cunts that just hate everything the above is not hard.

Were there any fighting robots from a different universe in this film though? That makes a film for me it does.

CGI looks like it's from the 90's.
Bale is dancing around doing kung-fu moves while shooting two guns and the whole thing is just terribly silly.
What ruined it for me was the fact it was a cheap knock off of 1984. Sean Pertwee playing the role of idictator, which ironically John Hurt did in V for Vendetta.

I am surprised at the low score for looper by some on here but no surprise that it's the usual miserable bastards that dont like it. Same old syndrome of when something is very good and hyped up some human beings decide they will hate it just for that reason (bit like apple products tbh)
either that or you feel you must like it because you are told its good! bet you enjoyed avatar.

The Grey - 7/10
Actually enjoyed this more than I'd have thought. Great feeling of suspense.
A big let down for me was the fact that 15 minutes in it's quite evident that the ending is revealed in the trailer.

Then by your logic I would have had to feel that I hate 'Hitman' because Empire gave it 1 star
Yes I enjoyed Avatar in the Cinema. When I watched it again at home I was bored.

Platoon - 10/10
I can't say this is my preferred genre, but I can't fault this film in any way either. I loved the subtle evolvement of the characters through out the story.
Unlike other 80's classics I've been late to the game with (I'm looking at you, Terminator) this has aged incredibly well.

Stolen - 2/10 - Extremely weak and predictable storyline that isn't even remotely believable. And the film is helped with Cage's acting, which is dire at best.
Was expecting a lot more considering Simon West did a reasonable job with Con Air.

Killing Bono - 7/10
True story about 2 bands at secondary school. Bono wanted the guitarist of the other band (Shook Up) to join them, his brother, the singer refused. Que the band constantly chasing after U2 and the singer being bitter.
Pretty good and funny in parts. Pete Postlethwaite's last film and Peter Serafinowicz (voice of Darth Maul) plays the manager.
