I "personally" dont think they look right on the car, would be better suited without, maybe some GSi of you like that route or irmy would suit better.

As i say that my personally view, and as you say you like them.

But yea good job on the c20, sounded rather good aswell, didn't seem to loud.

Ok mate your opinion.

I've always loved the steinmetz ones over the GSi for some reason.

Cheers,really happy with how the engine has gone and now with it running i'm well happy.

Are the door handles a slightly different shade to the rest of the bodywork? In those last few pics they don't look right to me.

I painted them when i first got car with rattle cans. They do have a slight yellow tint to them. :/ Need redoing but i hate the job to change them over.

Why are people picking at small things on your thread Dan like handles and other bits ?? Personally this has to be one of the best threads on the site and to top it off you've just popped a XE init

Completely agree. He hasn't said a word on this thread for months, then comes on just to say his handles are a different colour?

took some out of my other shell yesterday but i'll need them myself when i put the engine back in, think i threw the spare ones i had away along with the other mounts thinking i wouldnt need them

Man you got patience mate! Id have been out everywhere looking for bolts at scrappies and motor factors by now

Tbh I think nib nob was just asking a question guys let's be honest the cars mint in anyone's eyes so spotting little things like that just makes you realise how mint everything is that you have to pick out small things

I'm not siding with anyone as Dan knows how I feel about this car and that I'd take it off him in a heart beat but just saying it how I read it

Calm down people, why's everyone reacted so badly?! I have been commenting on this thread and reading every update.

Darryl's got it right. When everything else is looking so good on the car what's wrong with pointing out something small that could improve it? It's called constructive criticism...the whole point of a project thread.

I don't think Dan needs another person telling him the car looks good, I've told him several times before on here and it's pretty obvious from all of the other comments that Dan's doing a good job. I was only pointing it out, not having a dig.

Haha Chris nearly there now.

Fitted my new thermostat gasket yesterday,going to fit my radiator fan switch and new header tank tonight aswell. Oh and sort my camber out out on d/s wheel and fit my new rear bolt if it comes today.

I'll keep you all informered,I get paid Friday so gonna tax it and ring insurance up.
