My spelling has went downhill since everything I do is spellchecked. If it wasn't spellchecked I'd have to make the effort, not just decimate the English language.

Simple typos are no big deal to me, I probably make them as much as any body but using the complete wrong word is another level. I haven't read the whole thread but I assume accept/except and affect/effect feature somewhere.

I can't remember the last time I actually made a spelling mistake (genuine one, not a slip of the finger). If I'm in doubt, I'll check it first.
