even if its £30 to hire a place it will still be cheap when its split between the people going.
Plus we then have pritty much unlimited space compared to a living room etc.
Whilst on the subject is there a limit to how big the track can be for it to be powered efficently as i have loads of track in the loft i think

We should 'liberate' a dozen or so wallpaper pasting tables from the nearest B&Q and utilize them to make a waist height course.
Doing it on the floor would be dirty, uncomfortable and impractical.
For the benefit of Ash, by ''doing it'' I do in fact mean the racing and not what he's thinking about.
A fold up chair each would be indispensable too, especially when the beer wallpaper table gets into full usage.

Robin, there is no fucking way I am sitting cross legged on the floor like a 5 year old, and the controller cables won't reach up to our hands if we stand normally so we will all have RSI from stooping all night and squinting at the track on the floor.
Deffo need to put it on something, as the floor in a hall will be a nightmare.
