Thanks folks, really pleased with how it looks at the moment, love it or hate it the front bumpers still IMO, the irmscher bumper is smoothed and just sitting in the garage awaiting a trip to the bodyshop but not in any rush wait till winters over with so it stays fresh.

Trying to finish up my speaker pods now...



Getting them smooth and ready to be trimmed, or cabon'd

Been ordering a few bits up, crossing things off my shopping list slowly shall keep this updated as and when things arrive.

Smooth fibreglass inner wing panels to hide the wheel tubs (give a bit of a smooted bay look hopefully)



Full polished stainless battery box and lid (might be going into the boot yet:



Full polished stainless header tank:



New spare wheel turned up today too, just don't know what colour to paint it, fresh and silver dark and leave the edge of the rim silver:



Got to get my arse into gear and really sort the car out, not long until ISTS if I'm going to go and lots to do and buy expect a busy few months

Been a busy night got the front part of my speaker pod re-trimmed (nearly)



Got to tuck a few bits into ridges, cut loose threads off and then trim the back part tomorrow if I have enough glue half of its over my hands and won't come off

Fitted Chrome door catches and bolts:





New steering wheel arrived from the US:







My boot install has been scrapped, now on the fire, 12" Sub and Mono Block amp sold on eBay.

Keeping the 4 channel amp and making a new install, but as light weight as I possibly can, so got a few sheets of 7mm MDF to line the boot out with before trimming it all with black alcantara.

Chris Astley finally sent me the XE induction hose after a month of waiting but cocked the colours up so its got to go back

Dropped the irmscher airdam off at SBS-Bodystyling along with a few other bits to be painted, and talked about booking the car in for a tidy up / spray before the show season kicks off!

Looks good little_duke, just over brightened as can no longer see the rear end!

Yeh it got a full re-spray last March / April, just trying to tidy it all up for the shows, winter is not nice to your paint work

So needs must!

More goodies when I returned home today, a nice stainless push button for my boot release, might get round to wiring it up now only had a smooth boot for about 2 years



Might try fit it either in the cig lighter hole or where the front fog light switch would be.

Cheers guys,

Was going to fit the wheel tonight, but waiting and going to do the interior all at once I think.

Getting hard now, loads of new bits sitting beside me, that I want to get fitted but shall save it and have a mad day doing it all

More goodies again today, irmscher show plates:



Spare set of door cards, and the polished header tank arrived in the post.

Just need my hose from Chris Astley, a few little bits from Dimos then I think the spending is done other than materials such as alcantara!

Stavs, you know the score, I missed most of last show season with my engine blowing up so, I'm getting ready early this year deadlines to meet and all that

Mark, I can't wait to see yours in the flesh either, looks stunning, both cars have changed so much since Donny the other year on the CS stand!
