Yeah but no but yeah.............I agree with what your saying but Have extesive tests been carried out too find the breaking level of these engines? does anyone have experience of these things blowing up once turbo, the answer to that is i dont know nor care. Personally i hope its producing 160 and last forever for him. Good on him for doing it.
And as Robin said you get good and bad engines from the factory, some blow up some dont.

Not a regular, so not quite aquainted with the regular regulars. 119xcc @ 0.6bar doesn't produce 158bhp. No going back, no crossy counts, my mummy said no.

LOL. Anyway, it's been good lads. As I started out, no disrespect to anyone on here. I came for some friendly banter and to express some views.
At the end of the day, it looks like it can only be settled by taking the engine out, sticking it on a crank dyno and applying said mods!

=)) Who knows. I don't even have a driving license. I'm still determined to squeeze a 2.5 V6 into a Focus, then supercharge it.
My primary goal, however, is find more beer.

Make sure you uprate the internals and run no more than 0.6 BAR.
You just never know.

Ohh, yellow in colour, thats the same as mature chedder!!!
the internals of a mouse have proven to be quite weak when trod on.
PS there where no animals harmed in the making of this thread!!
Keep on trucking.

Seems a tad on the harsh side. That said, I don't know why he was banned, nor can I be bothered finding out

Sorry for detracting from the excellent debate. Posting on behalf of a banned member undermines the purpose of the ban and is treated quite seriously. The banned member is not returning any time soon.

I was just using information he was giving me to illustrate the point really. I shouldn't have quoted him though, I can see that.
