Ok today i thought i would get stuck in again as its nice weather and the missus is working;

Car out and door first door off:

Other door off:

Bumper off, ready for pick-up on monday. Going to performance-trim so have a fully replicated real carbon fibre copy made! CANT WAIT for this!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Doors layed out, powertools out, resulting in a neater and more cut out door:

Spot welds on the inner door bars that remained in drilled out, spot weld remover from screw-fix worth every penny:

Tar square removed:

With the carbon fibre door cards:

Just a bit more shit removed, weighs so much!

Preparing my gsi fog lights for when they are transformed into indicators in the distant future, when the car is ready, and i have morettes.

All i need now is some super bright motorbike indicators which i can remove the lense and shive the bulb in the hole and secure with a glue gun !

Genuis!

Good progress

Make sure you plate the heater matrix hole with some metal that's rivetted/welded in place. If you have an engine bay fire with the hole there/plastic covering the hole you're going to be in serious trouble.

Nah, i didnt take anything for him.

For me, it was the easy way out.
Due care and attention is fuck all in the world of "convictions"!
Yes i would MUCH rather have spent the £375 on the corsa

But on the other hand, still ordering some stuff from robin today !
