who cares, we're Jews we are in it for the money

You only need to Score one goal if you can stop all goals going in, this is possibly our approach, however im not so sure

All the goals you conceeded last season tend to go against this statement

I think football is screwed now. It really is about who's owner will spend the most to win. Youth systems, training & development....what's the point. Just buy your way to the top.

The beautiful game is ruined.

And before anyone says i'm a jelous Gooner. I've no doubt that a takeover will happen in the next 6 months at Arsenal. I hope not though. I'd rather get relegated than buy success.

We singed Steve, apparantly if the pitch is downhill and the wind is behind us then Steve is capable of running so fast with the ball no one will catch him.

Heres hoping.

From BBC blog...........

I'm curious to see how Hughes will play Robinho.

This season he has been playing 4-5-1 and with a full strength team his best players are SWP, Petrov and Jo (Or at least these are the players I see least likely being dropped. So that would lead you to believe Robinho would be in attacking midfield which displaces the frankly marvellous Elano. so will he do this and put Elano at Right Back? or will he switch to a 4-4-2 which would completely change the teams system but accommodate all 5 players?

tis an interesting time....

If City can keep there players fit and make a few more quality signings in January they have the makings of a quality team

You've paid about £10m too much for Berb IMO - thats not saying he is worth the same as Keane as we overpaid for him a little.

What will the line up be this season for United?

And I still think City will finish outside of the top 4 this season, easily infact. On decent player wont make up for the rest of the crap they have in that side at the moment - the only scary thought is the amount of money they'll spend if they have a whole transfer window!!

I was talking to Sooters last night Cosmotron who think we'll go with a 4-3-3 with Tevez on the left, Berbatov in the middle and Rooney on the right.

Makes sense but I think chances are it will be Tevez and Berbatov up front as first choice in a 4-4-2 formation.

--------Van Der Sar
Brown Ferdinand Vidic Evra
Ronaldo Carrick Scholes Giggs
------Tevez Berbatov

With the way Rooney has played in recent seasons, dropping back, not staying up front I think he may well have lost his starting place up front. He may find himself in midfield. Or just behind.

.................Hart................

Zabeleta..Dunne..Richards..Ball

.................Kompany................

SWP...........Elano...........Petrov

...............Jo......Robinho............

With a bit beefing up in defence and a bit more quality in their second string that isn't far off a Top 4 team imo

SWP and Petrov are useless at defending so that team would get murdered down the flanks.

The Liverpool Echo have said Arsenal tried to buy Alonso last night!!!

Too little too late!

I'm concerned its the end of an era for arsenal.

Cosmotron, my mate just had this to say!!!

"Read in the paper that Arab guy said he will spend "whatever it takes" to break into the top 4

Shouldn't cost him anything to beat Liverpool to a top 4 spot this season"

As I personally always felt, berb doesnt suit you guys at all and just gives you more problesm

Youi cant really have Rooney playign front of Ronaldo

And where do Hargreaves/Carrick fit in there?!
