Again found a part that i have no idea about :/

Anybody know what this is and where it goes? Cant figure out a bloody place?

Holds the linkage onto the selector pin on the box.

You mean it goes through the linkage into the selector?

that cant be right
It doesnt fit

selctor folk bit you mean Archie?
if so they've changed them. used to be a solid pin on the novas i think and the ones for the corsa b is totally different to that and the one above. i paid about £1.60ish for one when it snapped and it was hollow with a spring clip bit inside

So is that the pin for the old nova selector then?? Jed the one you described seems like the one ive got.
So that one in the picture aint needed?

No it holds the gear linkage to the rear mount

So it goes through the rear mount and the massive big hole in the linkage?

the selector fork pin on the nova is solid, the corsas had a hollowed out one with a springy out clip to hold it in place

ben your a legend mate. Does the gear linkage have a bush or anything in the middle of that part where this pin goes through?

Awsome. Thanks alot ben. Have to go and buy one of them from vaux next week then haha

all thats needed now is that bush, and the coolent hoses. Then its up and running

then its brakes and suspention

cant find the link now but there was someone selling some hoses for a c20xe corsa on ebay the otherday and he advertised them as 'vauxhall hoses', said in the description he wasnt sure if they were for 16xe or 20xe and they were cheap. 99% sure they were valver ones

I wont tim its still ran the same way just moved out the way for the moment. Will have to drill a hole in the bulk head like you suggested though so i need some new drill bits. Ill get to it asoon as i have a free day

As said, you dont need to drill it, but I think its the tidiest method

Might just run it normaly for now untill i can get a deecent set of drill bits and some p clips. Then go through the whole loom and tuck it every place that i can tbh mate. Just wanna get it done and running now haha
