So did I tbh You can see a definite size difference in these 2 pics but a 300mm conversion might have been better, although would have been tight if I wanted to put the standards back on for any reason.

Awesome, well done mate and good job.
I have a 300mm brake set-up here if you ever want one. Brand new
But yeah the ST brakes are still pretty small but do the job well. If it looks your after too then 300mm brakes is the way forward (excuse the inverted pun)

Sorry for the late reply! I'm afraid I won't be at Ford Fair, much to my own dissapointment as I am on holiday then. None of my mates are going either or I'd even say one of them could take it up just so it's in attendance as had a few people ask if it'll be there. Ah well, one of those things.

Not done much to her for a while, contemplating selling up for something with a bit more poke. But in the mean time my local club were having a Rolling Road Day so I ran it for a laugh, with pleasant results
They said the car is running spot on (but then it should do for a new car really) and it's making more power than standard.
They are 100bhp and 108 ft/lb torque standard, so can't complain at that. And before people start debating about dodgy rollers, they are well known as one of the best around, plus some other cars under read what the owners were expecting or had got on other rollers so it wasn't over reading every car like on some RR days.

Nah I'm talking more like 240bhp if I can get stuff sorted as I don't wanna be driving a Turbo car to work like I do my Zetec S. So need to get a work van in the mean time.
My mates are trying to get me to keep the Zetec S as a work hack

Na, you'd have to be homo to drive one of them
I know they are, I just can't stand the interior on them!
And yeah they are, about 12-13k for a decent spec one. I want one.

I'm feeling that, just getting hassled by mates to put a bigger engine in this, but really want a VXR, just need to find someone who will let me test drive one, dealer I went to the other day wanted a £500 deposit to take it out

Screw that I wanna drive it, although I love each and every other thing about the VXR so can't see the test drive being dissapointing! I went to a VXR trackday thing at Brands the other day, it was like music to my ears, the noise
