You also need to cut half of the bumper out and stick an orange fan in the gap

Fuckers that converted it have done a good enough job of cutting the bumper already, instead of using a slimeline fan, the GTI dual fan has been butchered in there

Its off the road in a week anyway, whole loom needs replaced due to extreme bodgery, will fit a slimline then.

Was a cheap one I had on the XSI, worked fine.

Once its off the road, this is the hopefull to do/buy list:

First off, braking.

Either GTi6 Fronts, or 406 brembos
Disk rear beam, or replace the shoes on my drum beam, they are well fucked

Interior

Strip More
Buckets
Fibreglass doorcards
Paint floor

Engine

Replace loom
4 branch manifold
General tidy up of the bay

Exterior

Paint arches in graphite grey

Then track the fucker.

Did a search, £35 delivered seems not bad. Once I get a garage (Somewhere nice, warm and dry ) Ill be taking the rest of the sound deadening off the doors, looks messy atm. Even rallye door cards would do me, just to save having a big hole in the door.

Yeah, probably be close to £100 for the full set. I asked for Rallye door cards on 106owners but no one replied, don't see them up for sale that much either.
