a bit of news for the PC players
''Sorry PC owners, it looks like Captain Delay strikes again…Dtoid brings word that UK site ElectronicTheatre.co.uk took a good hard look at Activision’s autumn/winter release schedule and noticed that the PC version of the highly-anticipated Modern Warfare 2 has been pushed back in Europe until November 24, 2009…Two weeks after the game’s console counterparts ship for the PS3 and 360 in the region. Now, the delay has NOT been confirmed for the US as of yet, but once we hear of Modern Warfare 2 PC’s official marching orders, we’ll update our twitter with the deets. I read somewhere that it's a possibilty that we could get it a bit later due to them working so much on getting the Xbox version sorted, now Xbox have partnered with them so much througout this campaign they wan't it ready before any other platform, and on time. I'm not too fussed as it gives them extra time to work on the PC version, a lot more goes in to the PC version anyway. I wouldn't trust that 100% though until Infinity Ward says it.

Apparently you can in MW2, not sure on MW or WaW as I don't play it on console, on PC you allways have been able to.

yeah during the game you can but not when it goes back to the lobby.
Its so so so fucking annoying! I have to put my tv on mute. Wish you could permently mute certain players!

Press Y to go into their profile menu and mute them from there, not hard really

Yes that's totally shit for the pc.
Pc is built on multilayer community, they reckon its better for pc players this way, more equal and less costs involved.
I played cod4 and waw on both pc and ps3, ps3 with this IWnet match making, sucked big time, was no communication, was dead and lifeless.
Does pc lose the map editor now 
My upload is only 50kbs.

If the MP in MW2 has no dedicated servers and only has small shitty games via steam I will not be playing it, no fucking way.
I'm not entirely sure how official this is, server hosts have been selling servers for MW2 in advance for the last few months now.
