I gave you Reina and Cole, forgot about them 2. Kuyt, Agger and Johnson wouldn't consistently get into any of the top 4 sides.

Anyway what im saying is the squad is nowhere near good enough, one or 2 injuries to any of the 4 and Liverpool are suddenly looking like a bottom half side.

This is a massive season for you, no CL and it will be no more Torres for sure, possibly Gerrard too and top players dont want to play for sides not playing CL football. So its get 4th this season or see Liverpool slowly drift towards lower top half mediocrity until they get major investment.

Don't know how you can consider Kuyt Agger and Johnson especially as top 4 player's, They wouldn't make it into United's, Arsenal's or Chelsea's team's anyway, Uefa cup quality at most IMO.

Fucking bottom half

So we have 4 'top 4' players in Torres, Reina, Gerrard and Cole.

And 3 possible in Johnson, Agger and Kuyt. Personally I'd add in meireles but too early to be certain.

So that's 7/8 who on their day are top 4 players. Add to that the likes of Carra, Konchesky and Ngog which would make up our starting 11 and it's not so bad. Not amazing but certainly good enough to challenge for top 4.

It does and will come down to how our fringe players perform when called upon but for a club which has been making a profit in the transfer windows for last 3yrs our squad isn't THAT bad.

Johnson would make it in to Uniteds. Agger is better than Evans IMO. He'd also get in Arsenals back line too IMO.

Johnson wouldn't make into United's team, I'd rather have the pile of wank that is O'Shea in right back atleast he can defend, but failing that if United persevere with Rafael he will mature into an excellent wingback IMO.

Agger better than Evans? Maybe your right although not by an awfull lot, but he is only young and looks to be improving with every game, but then again he is more of a squad player and is only getting the run he is at the minute due to the injured Ferdinand.

Not seen enough of Arsenal's new CB's to comment so you may well be right, don't think he would dislodge Vermaelen though?

TBH at the moment the defence is the best thing they have! Its going forward they look so so tame.

Chelsea have scored 21
Arsenal 14
United 14
Liverpool 4

Better defensively yes, However i actually despise the Peter Kay looking goon as he too is a dreadful player and i don't understand why he is playing so much at united especially ahead of Rafael & Brown
