If Barca lost Xavi, Iniesta and Messi they would replace them with Affelay, Mascherano and Bojan I am guessing? - bit part players who usually reside on the bench.

If Rooney, Berbatov and Vidic were out for us we still have the likes of Hernandez[/owen?], Giggs and Smalling, who have all played an integral part in our success this season and put in stand out performances.

Chelsea's squad has no depth since it let so many players leave in the summer, i said then it would struggle as soon as it got a couple of injuries and they have massively.

Keita and Mascherano would come in for Xavi and Iniesta and either Affelay, Bojan or Jeffren would come in for Messi.

Barcelona's squad is far stronger than United's.

Barcelona's squad is far stronger than United's.

Messi 169 lesague apps, 115 goals. 1 goal every 1.46 games
Affelay 165 league apps, 36 goals. 1 goal every 4.5 games
Krkic 99 league apps, 24 goals. 1 goal every 4.1 games
Saurez (Jeffren not Luis chrisritch) 82 league apps, 14 goals. 1 every 5.7 games.

direct replacements for messi tbh.

i dont need to do the Keita and mascherano in for iniesta and xavi as that 's for itself

Name me 1 player capable of replacing Messi other than Ronaldo.

Your logic = flawed.

Are you saying.. that if Barcelona lost Messi, they'd not be able to replace him , and be a worse team for it? quantifying my very point of.
"without xavi iniesta and messi barca would be average"

That's the point Barcelona do not have a replacement for him, yet my point is if the thre united players mentioned became injured United do have more than adequate replacements.

Your point about Barcelona being average, by any yardstick, with 3 injuries is bullshit. That is my point

You are waffling random shite.

Hoping we can turn the braga tie on it's head tonight. They have poor away form and we have decent home form. Expect Carroll to start, Lucas might miss it depending on impending birth of his kid. I think Spearing will start and Agger looks likely to return (and Meireles), we should have enough for them. Hopefully City will get done but I doubt it!

What? So you think you would have as much firepower up front if rooney or berba got injured as you have giggs Russ, why do you hate barca so much? ANY team who lost a handful of its biggest stars would be significantly hindered. Accept it, they are the worlds best. End of.
