Can't afford a new engine or the insurance increase. Once I've got my use out of this engine I'll get a bigger one Id want to rebuild the new engine if I got one so I'd need time

Attacked the pink before work today. only had time to do the bonnet, wings and wing mirrors.

Bonnet done,



wing g3'd



Wing Carnauba waxed



Buffed Off



fair nice shine, not perfect though



Wing mirror waxed



Buffed off, can see the fade one the other panels around the wing and mirror




And playing with an Evoque at work haha make is look like a proper sized 4x4

Got a new bumper lined up, just need to organise getting it,

also got an idea for the roof which is abit different but cant justify it this month.

Finished sorting the paint today glad ive finally got it back red, its not perfect but itl do

shot to show how crap it had actually got



can tell the difference massively when you look at the roof

And results after, didnt bother doing the roof as ive got plans for that

yeah it makes me happy cant wait to get my new bumper off kev then itl be sorted. just got to dirty the car driving 100 odd miles up to get it haha

it happened so bloody quick, i got lazy took it the hand car wash and the stripped all my wax off.

luckily it never looked as bad on pictures or from a distance lol

That's come up nice my red mk4 golf is faded sooooooo bad. Did you g3 it by hand or with a mop??? Need to fix mine.

I did it by hand, I've got a mop but it just swirls and there's nowt worse. Took atleast 5hours for a rush job haha

i used g3 to cut it back, then srp and then waxed it with meguires deep crystal carnauba wax, i want to give it another coat but its bloody raining here
