Primera are doing 2011 Argon 18 E112 carbon frames for £999 instead of £1699 while stocks last.

Im hoping to try my first 10 mile TT next week so if they still have them next week I might treat myself. Be quite interesting to build your own bike up.

Road bike for fitness, mountain bike for fun. Cubes are pretty decent. Looks cool as well Ben.

How long before you want a full susser?! I lasted about 18 months on a hard tail...

I was looking at full sus bikes and could have taken advantage of some 0% finance and got one but i've never ridden one and want to get experience etc on a hardtail and see how I go.

You've got the right idea. Best to learn how to ride off road on a hard tail to start with. Get your technique right on that. Then you can always get a full sus if you feel you need/want to. What ever you do dont go on a full suspension if you get offered a ride by a mate cos you'll not want to ride your own bike after

Once ya go full sus, you'll never look back! only thing I miss on the hard tail is you can get the power down a lot quicker, but other than that I don't miss it

I'm after a cheap hybrid to cycle to work on £150-200, I'm 6 ft 2ish wi quite long legs 34inch jeans etc. Rode to work on my dads raleigh max the other day, half of the journey. I'd have been quicker getting off and pushing! I'drather get something second hand and getmore for my money than something bottom end of budget, where's best place to look?

Did Jurassic Beast sportive yesterday. Fuck.

I thought doing 30mile ride the night before would be a good idea. Wrong.

Yesterday on the sportive, after about 25 miles and a couple of nasty hills, got the worst cramp in my thighs I couldn't bend my legs and nearly fell off. I have never ever suffered with cramp on my bike not even during Lands End to John O'Groats so was a bit miffed by it all.

So I had 40 miles of fighting cramp and nearly falling off 4 times when it kicked in when I tried to stand on the pedals to get up some of the fuck off hills

Annoyingly, legs feel fine today.

How bizarre they're fine today!

Did a 40 mile ride yesterday, which included around the great orme twice (local mountain) bloody felt it too, due to the wind! Knee's were killing during the ride, was glad when it was over, slept like a baby last night. 2 weeks till I get a new bike, can't wait.

Yeah I literally feel like I could ride no problem right now. Apart from maybe my goochimus maximus which is a bit tender.

I really need to start attacking some hills as they really are my weakness.

Goochimus Maximus I've been trying to work on them too, trying not to stand up at any cost or whatever the angle of the incline!

Definately better up hills than I was at the start of the year.
