I mod to improve, not for the sake of the internet.
The picture of the black one is misleading as you cant make out the light. It will look home grown and dustbin bag tints.
Nothing wrong with the tango, if you want to be internet about it, orange is in. White indicators are sooo 2003

Orange looks good on this.
Indicators - Orange or Clear = Yes. Black = No.

Find me clears then
De-steve'd my kidney grilles today. Had just finished spraying on the 3re coat of plastikote and let it dry, picked one up and dropped it onto the other now I need to flat and spray them again.
Matt black looks so much less chavvy then carbon fibre vinyl anyway.

woke up after about 3.5 hours sleep to bid on this and ended up winning. paid a little more than i wanted to but i wasn't going to lose it after i had got up out of bed for it
black surround, clear indicator
i already had this one in the garage so i just need to open it up and paint the surround black. hopefully that shouldnt be too difficult as it's already been opened up and resealed.

heard of them, but unsure how they work.
i didn't wait up though i went to sleep at about 4am and woke up at 7:50am
darryl - the 2 clear lights are different in that one has a silver surround and the other has a black surround. i will be opening them both up and spraying the surrounds matt black, then putting some mirror tint film over the bottom clear indicator bit (just to get rid of the orange bulb housing shining through), then re-sealing.

can't you swap the orange bulb for a silvertec bulb? would get rid of the orange bulb that way?

unfortunately no it's a clear bulb with an orange oval glass housing inside. i may be able to get the orange bit out, but i'm not 100% sure yet.

they don't seem to difficult to take apart tbh. the silver one i bought had already been resealed so i'm going to try and cut it open with a stanley knife tomorrow to get an idea of how it all comes out.
i only really need the clear indicator bit (it's a seperate piece of plastic inside the headlight housing) so as long as i don't break that, i can use it in my existing tango headlights.

these kidney grilles are driving me mad.
cleaned the car today and just a week after spraying them with plastikote, there were 2 stone chip marks on the surrounds (chrome showing through).
that was after 3 coats aswell so going to spray another few coats on. if it chips again, they're getting fucked off in favour of some black plastic ebay ones.

i did wrap them in carbon fibre vinyl mate, but water managed to get under it and lift it.
i tried matte black vinyl before and it wasn't as flexible as the carbon stuff, so came out shocking.
phil - that's the next one to try after plastikote only used this as it was cheap from b&q.

cleaned the roof at the weekend and it's supposed to be grey according to the spec list, but it's more green.
it's not mould, it seems as if it's just faded quite bad.
decided to take the plunge and buy this:
which does this:
hopefully it'll turn my green roof either black or dark grey as it's a dye.
won't be done for a couple of weeks though as i'm going away.
