What list of companies do these sort of deals then, as I'm trying to some up paying out £12k for a 2nd hand car keeping it servicing it taxing it ect for 2/3 years then selling it and minus the depreciation against doing this sort if scheme, I'd imagine there wouldn't be much in it and I get a shiny new car I can just get in and drive

every company does them, but usually the best deals are found through the internet (i guess due to lower overheads).
we have our focus on a similar deal, and i had the 2 fiestas and focus st on it also. it's so nice being able to not worry about whether the car will start or how much it'll cost you at mot time.
but, i also see other peoples point of view of not actually owning the car outright. who cares though? you'd lose the same amount of cash if you paid for it outright then sold it a few years later, as the payments are usually in line with depreciation costs

This is what I'm thinking, I'm in 2 minds spend no more then £8/9K on a 2nd hand diesel nothing special. Or spend £12k+ on an A3 or 1 series but it would be moon millage ect and if i buy new I'd loose so much.
This way seems fair, any more expensive cars ive owned ive took a loan out paid the monthly fee (not much off the prices of the corsa in here) then after 2/3 years sold it and the money I sold it for just paid off the remaing loan.
So I never actually owned the car as that doesn't bother me so guess this way is the best.
Stupid thing is as you no my dad gets ford company cars as well as the other ones, so I can have any ford, jag, land rover pay monthly and that includes EVERYTHING bar fuel... Then every 6 months I get a new car (id only get a ford btw) ...
Maybe should go down this route if I'm going to do it at all, just no ford really jumps out at me, bar a focus zetec s maybe.

tbh all new ford cars are pretty boring, nothing jumps out at me either, hence why i bought a 10 year old car instead.

It's annoying ay, such a good offer but just doesn't appeal as much as getting my 'own' car despite it won't be entirely as it'll be borrowed money....
If there was a more exciting car in the range I'd jump at it but as you say to there just isn't!! If fuel wasn't a issue I'd have an ST but want a diesel.

The only thing that would put me off a lease if I wanted a brand new motor is the mileage, I'd cripple most especially at the moment. Still think HP on an almost brand new motor is the way forward.

What is it you paid upfront?
What are the hidden costs?
£160.00 a month sounds good. How long do you have the car for? Is there any final payments after the duration? And how long is the duration for?
Thanks mate
3 months money deposit + 50 document fee, then 23 monthly payments. There isnt any hidden costs, no final payment just hand the car back and ive got it for 2 years. Tax is included for the full lease aswell which is good.

The tax should cost 275 for the first year and 195 for the years after.

So it's about £4k for 2 years? Not bad. You pay the tax really in the first payment

asa contacts ling to say her advertising is misleading.
ling makes loads of jokes about it, calling gareth griffiths an idiot/ass etc.
asa upholds the complaint.
media get involve and everyone bombards ling with questions about the delorean.
ling shits herself and asks for them to help out.
asa basically say fuck off.

I don't think ling is shitting it at the end, she's taking the piss in a way to say "oh no please help I can't cope with how popular you have made my company"
It's publicity at the end of the day that they need so she's taking the piss instead of thanking them
