Braver than me! Got up at lunchtime finally got round to fitting some new tires, saddle, and rear cassette to the road bike. Just need to drop it off at the bike shop for new cabling and maybe some new bar tape.

Where did you go? Was that the slab you tackled?

Also ordered some shit to get the road bike up and running. New rear cassette, new tires, and a charger spoon saddle as the one on the bike takes ages for my arse to get toughened up too.

let me no when them stands come and if there any good,id love something like that

In answer to your question, them bike stands are fucking fantastic man. Got a skinny ass roadie wheel in one and a fat ass 29er in the other. One of those "how did I manage without" purchases tbh.

Well my free hub expired today after 10 miles of riding. Luckily could cut the ride short and get back to the car. It's not completely free of applying drive and just spins in both directions. Got a new one sorted for £18 and £12 to fit and service the hub.

Borrowing a rear wheel tomorrow so I can still ride, which kind of makes my bike an oxfam bike at the moment!

Did just short of 20 miles today with the weather being so nice. Not shy on climbs either with just over 3000ft. Was a variation of a route called iron keld and loughrigg in the lakes. Great fun today on my oxfam bike although I've bought some second hand wheels for it and them 140mm forks.

Gonna put off buying a new bike as this seems to be good at doing everything I throw at it. If and when I feel more talented on a push bike I reckon I will upgrade, otherwise seems a waste of money. All the gear and no idea is the saying, I'd rather not be like that.

I got out today on the MTB as well, 14 miles and 2500ft of climbing.

If the weather is decent tomorrow I will get out again on it. Weather was hugely better than its been for weeks.

We do. Think I will leave a trip to the lakes until the weather has improved a little!

I have been doing some Snowdon research, the ranger track descent is blocked at the minute in places with bags of rock and gravel as they are doing work on the track.

Had an 'interesting' jaunt round whinlatter today for quite a few varied reasons. First as I've mentioned before I've found my bikes front end washes out quite a bit. But I found a fox suspension app! So off I went a got kitted out weighed myself etc and followed the apps instructions. Great. Alas this appears to have turned my bike into an uncontrollable sack of shit that has all the grace of a pingpong ball down the trail.

Secondly my 1x10 became a 1x1 but with some swearing and fucking about I got a 1x4.

Thirdly my brakes are 'failing' all of which made for an exciting ride out!

Twatcam vids with new tittymount uploading as we speak.

Haha cheers, I realise it was a reasonably simple/stupid question.

I never used to have any issues with my old maguras but with the amount of general crap and sand going in them they are making a fairly decent grinding noise at times. This goes away with friction but just never fills me with joy.
