Maybe its nerves, maybe its the lack of Suarez, but so far Uruguay have not looked great. Wayward route one shit.

they're one of the teams who are relatively solid, dont do much wrong, and have the potential to cause damage from nothing though.

this could stay 1-0 or finish 4-0 and i wouldnt be surprised either way

If England let that Italian midfield dictate the tempo, they're in for a bad night. I think Marchisio can be the key man going forward, but Im actually excited to see Pirlo
Edit: I'm betting Henderson's role will be to close him down at all times.

The rest of the midfield isn't half bad either Of what I've seen of Veratti, he's going to be every bit as creative.

If it stays this way, it'll drop a shit load of pressure from the big one later.

As I said earlier, I'd personally expect Sterling to be posted to Pirlo, leaving Gerrard/Hendo deeper to deal with the attacking midfielders

20/1 But even a defeat tonight doesn't spell doom for either of these teams. Whereas it probably would have if Uruguay won. But England/Italy will play them with the addition of arguably the third best player in the world right now.

We were 25 before tonight I think... Yeah, Suarez is a ridiculous difference for them. If CR get a draw against Italy means that last match could be massive for both teams now though!

How fit is he going to be though? If he was even 50% they'd have brought him on at 2-1 down, so he must be pretty fucked still.
