I can see what you're saying, but you can attribute this to many companies and organisations.
The iPhone for me won't just be a phone for calls and texts, but I'll use it loads for YouTube, television programmes, internet, social media apps, fun gaming apps etc etc etc - sure over the two years it's a lot of money, but you do get a great piece of kit.

Love how everyone quite happy to make excuses for buying the massive one after Apple saying for years that the screen was fine the size it was.
Brilliant.

Well that's Apple's opinion and not necessarily the consumer, no? Or now they listened again to the consumer ergo why they changed it to make one bigger and more of a phablet?!?

Does look a nice phone, not overly keen on the design of the back but I don't tend to spend extended periods of time looking at the back of my phone so not a major issue.
I just replaced my iPhone 5 with a lg g2 which has a 5.2inch screen which is perfect, may look at what the 6 is going for on eBay used in the new year after the hypes died down a bit.
Not having signal at home makes a contract pointless for me.

Make my own decision, ultimately tbh.

You only think you make your own decision but that wasn't my point.

I knew I worded what I said wrong the minute I did it but couldn't be assed to re-word it - all in all, I'm not one of those Apple fan boys who HAS to have everything they make and stand outside a shop for two weeks to get it. I understand the premise where many of the loyal Apple guys are indeed like that and will purchase the next phone even if it had 0.1 per cent of an update for an extra 500 pounds etc

£53 a month.
Less than £2 a day. For that I can call whoever I want for however long. Send as many texts as I like, and have access to internet whenever I want it.
I'm happy, and whoever decides to pay it is happy, don't see why others are annoyed.

Not mocking, genuine point. When your car is worth barely more than scrap value and the phone costs over a grand over 2 years, wtf is going on?

i know what you mean - its crazy, i would never take take out such an expensive contract anyway incase i lost my job or something.
i was just saying when you put it like only being £2 a day it doesnt seem much when you see lots of people waste £2 a day on drinks etc at the petrol station/vending machines
Edit - what do you mean my car is worth barely more than scrap value
