I miss my old CTR had one like that but red, seats in those late ones are amazing.

boring sunday so did a bit of cleaning and checking over stuff on the car. checked the ride hight is the same again both sides after its had time to settle down and its pretty much the same give or take 1-2mil so i am happy enough. better than being 20-25mil higher on one side. wtf.

noticed that the breather filter has gone missing. shame. i am planning on getting jdm to weld up the rocker cover breathers anyway, and make a take off next to the dispack some point soon. probably get that done over the next week or so.

hopefully run some more mid 12's tomorrow and have a load of issues like normal. just seems my luck really.

see how well they grip tomorrow i guess. should really have had them fitted to the other mo's then done a comparrison with the r888s. although in the past ive found the toyo a fair way shitter than yoko a048r's. lets hope america really can make good rubber.

maybe just got another pair of mo's bought for spares. will investigate some full slicks for them if i do get them.

got up early



printed off some instructions



attached the vauxhall on the towing device on the back of the other vauxhall and set off



lots of rubber up side of the car



slick drank beer



there was some burnouts



manners approved of drinking beer



invisible camo skyline not sure you will be able to see it



and some other stuff.

something up with car. its just not as fast as it was. my best was a 12.1 but at a quite a low speed of 122mph whereas last year i was regularly past 130mph. will have to investigate. although i did get some nice 2.0 60ft times, just top of 3rd and 4th etc it just didnt have the balls deep power it did last year.

So if your getting a 12.1 with lower terminal speeds it must be gripping well?

later runs after camera went flat was launchin it a lot harder as there was a lot more grip than compared with crail etc like i am used to.

its just in the higher gears, its just not as fast tbh. on the 12.1 it took 8.2 seconds to get to 97mph with 60ft of 2.1

was only running to 1/8th and i think it did it in 4.2 seconds at 178 at its fastest. was still crossing line at 6 and a bit seconds with the parachute out from the 1/8th

mental.

i have some more vids of the v8's etc to edit and load to the tube but will probably do that tomorrow night as im a bit tired and in need of some food.

oh and over all i really enjoyed the day out at york. its a lot more professional set up than crail or my local one. although they didnt seem to give much time to rwyb cars, more about the v8 shootout. it was still good to watch them cars flying up though with a couple in the 9s
