mines 1.2bar ecu arrived today.

Will only run it at 1.0bar though as its still (i think) on std ceramic turbos). Need a boost controller now :/

Blitz DSBC-R maybe any other suggestions? Not sure on Apexio AVC-R - just think the control unit will be a bit bling and big for the cabin :/

Blitz SBC -ID III

The SBC i-D (Sequential Boost Controller i-D) is the latest boost controller offer by BLITZ®. this unique boost controller represents the cutting edge in boost controller technology. The SBC i-D features the same dual solenoid design as the DSBC for maximum boost response and the capability to hold up to 36.75psi (2.5 bar). The SBC i-D is 1/2 din size and it is compatible with internal actuators and external wastegates.

Product Features
- Boost Unit - Boost can be displayed in standard and metric measurements (PSI, bar, kPa, and kg/cm2)
- Four Channels - Has 4 different programmable boost settings.
- Boost Gauge - The SBC i-D can display boost in digital and graphical form.
- Peak Hold - SBC i-D can record the highest boost achieved by the vehicle.
- Boost Warning and Limiter - This is a safety function that allows the operator to set the amount of boost decrease in the event of over boost. Warning is in both visual and audible.
- Manual or Automatic boost setting - The SBC i-D allows the user the choose how the boost is set.
- Manual - Sets boost in ratio, from 0-100. By using the manual setting, this allows the boost controller to give maximum boost
- Automatic - Sets boost directly, just dial in desired boost amount.
- Record and Replay- SBC i-D has the ability to record and replay any information up to 99 seconds. The SBC i-D can also record and replay information on the Power Meter i-D and Optional Data (Power Meter i-D and SBC Optional Harness required). Replay can be fast forwarded and replayed in 2x and 5x.
- Display - The SBC i-D can display up to 6 different vehicle reading. Each reading can be display in both digital and graph form. SBC i-D has the option to display 5 other vehicle reading (Power Meter i-D and SBC Optional Harness required). With Power Meter i-D, the SBC i-D can display SPEED and POWER. With SBC Optional Harness, the SBC i-D can display 3 different electronic outputs from the ECU.

Screen Display
- Boost - Digital and Graph Form
- OPT1/SPEED - (Power Meter i-D required to display speed) ”V Digital and Graphic form.
- OPT2/POWER - (Power Meter i-D required to display power) - Digital and Graphic form.
- DATA 1 - (SBC Optional Harness required) - Digital and Graphic form.
- DATA 2 - (SBC Optional Harness required) - Digital and Graphic form.
- DATA 3 - (SBC Optional Harness required) - Digital and Graphic form.
- OPT2/POWER - (Power Meter i-D required to display power) - Digital and Graphic form.
- DATA 1 - (SBC Optional Harness required) - Digital and Graphic form.
- DATA 2 - (SBC Optional Harness required) - Digital and Graphic form.
- DATA 3 - (SBC Optional Harness required) - Digital and Graphic form.

- DATA 1-3 Display - This boost controller has the ability to display any electronic output from the vehicle ECU (SBC Optional Harness required). It can display almost any voltage output from the computer (i.e.: TPS, temperature, pressure, A/F, injector pulse and etc.). DATA 1-3 readings can also be recorded and replayed.
- Speed Map - This unique feature allows the SBC i-D to control boost according to the speed of the vehicle (Power Meter i-D required). Speed Map boost control can be set up from a 2 stage to a 4 stage control, which allows the user to set boost according to his driving style. Speed in transfer by infrared between the Power Meter i-D and SBC i-D.

HKS EVC

The EVC IV is a user-friendly, full-featured digital electronic boost controller that utilizes a precision "closed-loop" boost regulating stepping motor. Stepping motors are used because they can handle higher boost levels and are quicker to react to various conditions, thus offering quicker boost response and higher stable boost levels throughout each gear.

The HKS EVC IV can correct the signal to the wastegate several times each second, thus allowing a more rapid boost rise without overboosting. A built-in "Fuzzy Logic" program will learn the base boost curve and optimizes it for maximum response and stable boost. For instances where "Fuzzy Logic" is not applicable, it can be bypassed during initial setup.

Via an illuminated knob on the headunit, the EVC IV is adjustable up to 2.5bar (36.25psi) of boost pressure and incorporates a real time digital boost and vacuum display for precise boost calibration and monitoring. 1-Touch "High" and "Low" boost level presets allow for multiple settings to accommodate for varying power needs. For extra boost, the scramble boost feature will add a users specified amount of boost over the current boost setting for a preset duration between 1-30 seconds.

An optional remote scramble boost trigger is available to supplement the trigger button on the headunit for Scramble Boost activation. A built-in visual and audible overboost warning feature will revert boost levels to baseline if boost levels exceed the warning level entered by the user. To prevent losing all valuable data and presets, each EVC has flash memory to retain all settings and presets if power is ever removed from the unit.

EVC IV features
1. Adjustable up to 2,5 Bar (36.25psi)
2. Real time Digital Boost and Vacum display
3. Liquid Crystal Display Screen
4. High and Low Boost present levels
5. Scramble Boost feature
6. External Scramble Boost Trigger available
7. Visual and Audible overboost warning feature
8. Internal and External wastegate applicable
9. Precision "closed-loop" boost regulating stepping motor
10.Fuzzy Logic Programming will learn natural boost curve and optimize it.
11.Flash Memory

they will prob have sturdier bodies/shafts, yes

TSC - Torque split controller. Works with the skyline ATTESA AWD system.

Nissan designed the car to have rwd characteristics.... so when the car has lateral movement, the gyro or accerometer sends a signal sending more torque to the rear. Meanign assout everywhere

This device gives you the option to dial in more to the fronts. On the straights with perfect grip etc its still a RWD car, just effectivly 'more' 4wd on corners if you want it to be.

Makes a marked difference

DSBC-R are good yes.... the SBC-iD just looks to be a new version with same features.

I had the DSBC-R on the supra and was amazed how it held boost! 24psi from 3500rpm to redline. SOLID.

Also like how you could set the solenoid speed so the spool time was more gradual rather than hoofinf you across the road side ways with the tyres smoking

Had the DSBC-S on the R33.... pish
