UPDATE:

19th April

Its been a while since i've posted but not too much is happening im afraid as im still waiting for bits. But in the meantime...

Got my top mounts back from the machine shop (They've turned down the tops so i've got more adjustment without having to cut my Turret.

Finished painting my Bilstien Shockers

Sorted a K&N (from the Leon Cupra R)

Had the Rad mounts powder coated black and fitted them

I then set about assembling the front Struts, to do this I had to grind down the spacers inbetween the spring platform and Top mounts so it would work (Long story but I had to do it to make the setup function correctly)

My Courtenay 2.0 Poundage front springs modded by www.coilsprings.co.uk to around a 60-70mm drop

The front strut all built up

Fitted the Top Mounts and front Struts

Fitted Tiebars and wishbones with the Lowered plates

Not much clearance to the F28 box

Next the power steering pump....

I've been fabricating a mounting arrangement for it to fit on

Its upside down in these pictures. The unit will actually hang from this, not sit on it

The above will make more sense when i show you it mounted in the car. Just got to do a little more then paint and fit it.

These hoses turned up (These are all boost and vacuum hoses for my custom intercooler (which I haven't ordered yet as I wanted to fit the hoses first then measure up for where the Intercooler will sit)

And finally I decided to brighten up my interior with some carbon...

Clocks as they are now

My new surrounds

And temperally fitted

UPDATE:

20th April

Fitted Pacet Rad Fan

Equal length shaft from Calibra is now fitted, along with hub and suspension on the drivers side

Temporally fitted boost hoses and took all measurements needed for my custom intercooler

Last weekend I tagged along with my Apprentice from work to look over and buy a tidy 2.0 16v Corsa B from this site.... and I got to drive it home as he had no insurance

You'll be seeing more of that in the future as the mods commence.

The AX had its suspension removed AGAIN!!! And this time it got treated to Yellow Bilstien Shocks

Last night I went to my local bodyshop that sprayed my cars and the owner had a new toy which I had to get a pic of

And finally, got bored at work today so played with our Monkeys and Taz

Haha, we all work hard... Ben (Scooby and Corsa owner) the hardest though. He's a SParky by trade and is constantly putting in long hours to pay for his Hobbies. Myself and Padge (Seat Leon Owner) work as Draughtsmen for Roll-Royce Aerospace, Dan (Civic and RX7) also works for Rolls-Royce on the shop floor and Chris (VR6 & AX VTS) Is a personal trainer and works at a local Gym. With the expection of Ben... We all still still live at home... thats how we can afford it

Cheers for your comments, it is great having a bunch of mates that are into the same hobbie! It sort of pushes you along to do things.

I'll measure today for you, I think it was only 4-5mm as I didn't we didn't want to weaken them. I still can't get full adjustment but a lot more than when I first tried to fit them.
