why not?

my dad is nealry 60 yet he drives around in a £90k porsche that looks more suited to a younger person?

john Caudwell, ex owner of fones4u and singlepoint, he drives an aerial atom everyday. he is a good friend of my family and he is late 50's.

every manufacturer builds and develops vehicles to cater for all types of people. because the car is, as you say a "max power" car, this does not mean that it is for young people.

the whole branding of the VXR range was aimed at people who went out for drives purely because they wanted to enjoy the fun of driving their car. they are aimed at people who genuinely enjoy using there car for pleasure and not just for going the local shops.

sorry but porsche and atoms are hardly advertised at kids mate ffs

porsche have class and carissma and a high price tag. its kept high to stop everyday nobodys from driving about in them and deminishing the brand

do u think porsche would ever do 0% finance, free insurance. hardly. the same goes for merc, bmw etc.

Thats not on here though is it?

A very sweeping statement.

I agree on ebay most of the poorly done cheap-ass conversions come across as logbook registered as 1.2 cheap ins wikd bruv.

But thats not the case on here.

and where is the advert for vxr's that emplors young kids to buy them?

porsche do indeed do 0% finance after a 40% deposit. To ING leasing, and other similar lease to buy companys, Porsche in fact do 0%APR. So do BMW, BMW have a dedicated business that deals in only this.

Free insurance, available for over 21s and under 75s-so surely the car must be aimed at everyone between these given ages?

I think you are disgruntled that your arguements have fell on deaf ears.

I hope nobody thinks bmw has any class.

I would rather buy a vauxhall than anything less than an m3 tbh.

Depends on the model John, 318/520 no. 740, 6 series, M Coupe all have class in my opinion. I still like the old 635 and 8 series too, they had class.

Yip if its a decent one I agree it does.

Everybody paying stupid amounts so they can drive about in the shittest one they can afford just for the bmw badge is far from it though.

Mercedes as well for that matter, although my opinion of the bmw drivers is worse I think.

Based on what I don't know though

I like this new corsa, I think its the best thing to come from Vauxhall for a long time certainly the best corsa ever!! I just hope its not tamed down too much in any department as to not out do the astra!! Which looks to be the benchmark car in the VXR range!!

I also wonder just who is going to buy one, £16k is alot of money, for a corsa & at that price opens up alot of option for other cars. If as suggested its aimed at young drivers its certainly not priced towards them, I dont know many people my age with a 16k car!!

To be fair, Renault can justify the 197, Ford have the ST, this is just another option. So I don't think they will be short of interest.

thing is now that people are saying that it is aimed at young people....why??

the vxr range is there as an alternative option. some people want to ferry 4 kids about, but with a bit of attitude.zafira/meriva vxr. just because it is a corsa does not mean it is for young people.

personally, i think this is one of vauxhalls most important flagship vehicles.

I agree with that, there are other cars out there for around £16k and I think the price needs dropping to around 14k to tempt people away from these other cars. Not going to mention other cars but you're only a few k off something faster/bigger/more prestigous.
