Looks great buddy, when you going to drop the engine in?
January/ February, can't wait, just taking my time and waiting for the absolute bargains to come up. I've saved soo much money by just waiting

Update
A few goodies turned up today
Rubber boot to connect M-Tech power cap to the AFM, came with jubilee clips as well, bonus!
And the conversion loom off 'twag' so I don't have to cut and splice the looms.

I didn't know much about the internal workings of an engine until I striped this beast down, I'm pretty knowledgeable about it now though which is just what I wanted.

Update
Thought I better clean the baffle plate up like the sump
I'm truly baffled by its shininess.
Also took a snap of all my rebuild parts, for proof really as I don't have receipts for them.
- Elring Head Gasket Set
- Victor Reinz Bottom End gasket set
- ACL Big End Bearings
- ACL Main Cap Bearings
- KS Piston Rings
- Elring Head Bolts
Got my head back last night of Philip2, top man
Had the 2 valve guides replaced so I can crack on with assembling the head.

Update
Last night Hawkins and myself rebuilt my head.
Started off with the lower valve spring seats (that had been missed out on the previous build!!! ) and the valve stem seals
Then I put the valves and associated parts in (Hawkins did most of this as can be seen by his determined expression)
And done
Also some more parts arrived today thanks to 'rickiek123' and 'Alexhogben'
Crank and Knock sensors
Alternator and brackets (no idea how to fit this)
And my fuel lines which were meant to be in the same bag that my BIG BORE manifold came in but had fell out. So were delivered in his hand today!
Also received my BIG BORE manifold yesterday, no pics until it's clean though.

I really want to do it black but don't want it to just burn/flake off.
What's the best paint for the job?
I did enquire into ceremic coating but it's way expensive!

Update
AVO GTZ COILOVERS
My favourite update for a long time!!!
A deal I could not refuse came up off 'Luke' for these.
Have stripped and cleaned them up today and greased all the bodies.
Dampening circuit adjust front and back.
And height adjust -30mm to -120mm front and back.
Love the fact that they are proper coilovers on the rear as well
Forgot a big thanks to 'Macky' who helped a lot with the clean up on these.
