RIGHT ignore the last couple of posts. I actually phoned RED DOT today and got through to a guy who was so helpfull, pleasant and knew exactly what i was after and made some suggestions. So plan is get BCS changed then book it in at RED DOT for a remap for £250 
He says from what i got done so far minimum 250-270bhp which the map will be written so its progressive rather than a sudden twat in the back boost 
Then when uprated clutch and a few other things then take it back and he'll do another map and have anothe rplay about with it. Excciting times

I told you they are good, he is decent ! Do courtney, regal or thorney RR the car first before writing a map ? then RR it after to make sure ut's ok ?

UPDATE - 26.05.2009 REMAP BOOKED
Well yes at last booked in on Sunday 28th June . I shall be going to RED DOT in Enfield - RED DOT . Going with a few lads of Astrasport and as a few of us are going got it for a cheaper price. £220 all in. Thats 2 rr sessions and the mapping done.

Yeah Graham i put a thread on Astrasport and was overwhelmed in the interest and response i got which led to a group buy type thing. Nothing but good stories and power results from them.

As i haven't got cash for clutch at the moment. Also the type of map i am getting won't be so aggresive and the standard clutch will cope just fine.

Can only come down in June as next pay day is 15th and thats when cash is available. Got oasis and pv and the t.t's so cash is accounted for this month.

Nice what sort of BHP have they quoted? Also is it similar to the Phase/CS stage maps?

Well fad, I told him the mods that i had and he quoted me 250-270bhp with torque being around the same. I am going for a prgressive map so power and boost will come in through the whole rev range rather than in sudden aggressive bursts. Gone for this as it means that items such as clutch and gearbox last longer.
These maps are not as aggressive as the regel ipf maps so i am told and the driveability of the car is a lot better than the Courtney stage tunes.
