Thanks again for the comments

Generation, cheers buddy its been a pain but nearly there ! im in 2 minds about the front bumper myself, hopefully it'll grow on me and might look better when the tops/arches are done gloss

Graeme, thanks! hope to see your Viva about if you've still got it? air ride?

Thanks Sean!

since the cars been sat around while being worked on the paintwork was dull and covered dust, oil and everything else. Thought id give it a bit of a clean and see how it comes up, washed, clayed, polished and waxed.

sorry for the shite pics but it was getting dark

Cheers Darryl, I do need to source a new F28 gearbox oil seal as noticed I've a few drips coming from the one fitted, I might have to order one in at Vauxhall. I still have the xe inlet cam to fit but need an adjustable vernier, mocal oil cooler needs to be bought aswell as chucked my other one after it had been run on previous engine. I'd also like some stronger ball joints after seeing what happened to dales last year.

Shouldn't be much else will just see if anything is picked up on at MOT, it's all down to money at the mo though as work isn't great, no new contracts coming in and we've all had to recently take a Pay cut. I want the car on the road for around march latest, weather can only get better from then too so will be ideal

Yeah deffo, or a Start of season National meet like that MK one last year ? not sure when Dan and the rest will be getting there cars back on the road though.. food for thought

Thanks Marc Glad you think so, ive always loved the shape of it for some odd reason

Jamie, thanks buddy, i know i feel the same look at it from some angle and i like it and others it spoils it for me splitter can be removed or sprayed black again like my old one but not sure if it'll look better if and when the bumper tops/arches are sprayed up gloss (grey/anthra/black:boggle

Thanks Jon, It shall be going lower yeah, will wind it down and get it all set up while i'm getting the alignment done etc.
I've got a couple more things to sort on it before its on the road, i just had to pull it off the drive so my dad could sort the other motor out.

The speedo doesnt seem to be working (cable possibly come loose)
Oil cooler isn't yet fitted
throttle cable could be adjusted
new tyres
new window wipers
Gearbox oil seals need fitting as ive a slight leak

oh yeah deffo, i cant wait to actually drive it & hopefully get to some showhis year. I've 2 options for the numberplate either run it in the window like i used to or buy a adhesive plate like bigron and just stick it to the splitter, not sure which id prefer to do at the mo
