Not 100% sure on the exact model number. Bit awkward to look while they're on the car. If you're interested just call them up and ask and I'm sure they'll be able to help you out.

Fitted electric sunroof controls today. Vectra surrounds should fit but the one I have seems too big like the ones from the Carlton. It has a bit of a gap between the surround side and the roof lining and it is wider than the old one. Still managed to get it to fit so it will do for the time being whilst I seek a replacement.
Taking the old surround off:
Then the manual mechanism comes off:
And the motor fitted in its place:
My really tidy wiring:
All back together and fully operational:

Thanks The picture hides the poor fit to be honest. It's ok for the time being but I'll get round to changing it at some point.

Yeah I like to do interior mods. Too many people focus on the outside of their car in my opinion. They forget that they're in the inside of it day to day so why not make it a nicer place?
Haha no chance

Ready for when the back box finally arrives:
Seller is being very unreliable. It was meant to be delivered on Monday He tells me I should have it tomorrow. I've got a local meet on Sunday that I would love to have it on for but I'm not holding out any hopes for it arriving on time.

I could go into a rant about it but it isn't going to make a difference. Just annoys me that he's all nice and friendly and compliant over messages but is bloody useless at keeping to promises.

Try and find a Cavalier electric sunroof panel - really good fit on them compared to that Vectra one with much less gap, converted my Corsa when it was still for road use;

Vectra ones are meant to be fine, meant to be the same size as the standard Corsa one. Not sure why the one I got is bigger, I thought it was only the Carlton ones that were bigger.
But cheers, I'll keep that in mind

The size isn't too much of an issue - Vectra/Cav ones are similar to the Corsa trim in size. It's the differing angle that is the issue.

Hmm hadn't thought of that idea actually. I'll give it some thought but it may look a bit out of place with the sun visors etc.

Not really a fan of sun visors when they've been done black to be honest.

Went to a meet on Sunday evening with Warwickshire Modified; a local forum I'm a part of.
Here's a selection of photos taken by various people. If you want to see any pics of any of the other cars just let me know and I'll post some up
