Yea its about time really , it was basicly ready, just had to pull the loom through and disconnect the fuel lines then drop it out.

Really , I never checked to see but I was under the impression the 1.0s were SPI? Obviously not

1.0's are MPI, and run the same fuel pressure as the bigger engined stuff.

Ohhh, Something else I should point out, Don't forget to take the servo vacuum off the red one, Will be needed when converting, or at least be handy.

Whats that? Do you mean the brake servo?

Me and my dad put it on its side tonight and got the exhaust off, so afaik its ready to go. Let me know if theres anything else I should remove before it goes

Finished removing a few odds and ends that I still needed/wanted so that brought the red one to an end Duke looks happy too

Hold your horses

Will be be ordering timing belt kit and waterpump shortly along with gaskets and other bits, and get it all cleaned painted then I'll get onto stripping the silver one

Black and silver is a nice theme, rear lights set it off

At least half the people on here want their car as low as the red one when it left tbh.

Cheers lads appreciate the nice comments , once I had done and took a step back I fell in love with it all over again

Just need to re seal the o/s headlight as it steams up every time water gets near it

As for the number plate there is a bit of surface rust behind it that I want to sort before I put new plates on.

Cheers matey , yea its all pretty straight, all panel gaps are the same like you said, only damage on it is the ding on the bottom of the drivers door and a small bit of rust on the boot. Other than that its all good
