Monaco is a fantastic technical circuit.

Monaco shit????
Best circuit in the calender!!!
Also have people missed the fact that LH was joking about racism?
He shouldn't have been penalised either time yesterday if you look a the footage closely.
He's a proper racing driver in modern F1 which is ruined by politics tbh.

Meh, each to their own. The cars aren't designed for the track, it's too short, there's no overtaking and the cars are thrown into the barriers left right and centre.
Oh, and endless amounts of rich twats turn up purely because lots of other rich twats turn up.
I'll never forget a couple of years back Naomi Campbell was on the grid walk and when Brundle asked who she wanted to win there was a long pause followed by 'the British one'.
I think that annoys me much more than the circuit itself tbf.

I agree about the celeb circus. I don't mind them being there because that's the charm of Monaco, but keep them off air and off the grid!

Because they've no interest in the actual F1.
Just there to be seen.
Brundell made a point on his grid walk, when that nobody "producer" was put in front of him and he said something like "theres 60 million people who want to be on the grid in Monaco, what do you need to do to be here?" And the guy replied "produce some records..blah, blah, blah"
Just using him as an example.....he may have a genuine interest.

In Monaco's defence, at least its a proper street circuit, rather than the recent synthetic street courses which has just as little overtaking most of the time but none of the history.
Generally, F1 I see as a bit of a circus show most of the time, Monaco is quite an honest representation of that.
Definately agree I couldn't give a fuck less what these "celebs" have to say though

Regarding the Hamilton Massa incident. If you watch the overhead shot of that corner, you can see where the 2 cars in front of Massa turn in on that corner. Massa turned in a lot earlier and took a completely different line from the cars in front.
So I actually think it was 6 of 1 and half a dozen of the other.
I think Massa was fair to make the block thinking Hamilton would back off, I also think Hamilton was fair in making his move (he had been overtaken there himself) and expected Massa to give him more room.
The Maldonado accident was all Hamiltons own fault, no excusing that one.

Its silly though. Schumi did the same to Rosberg, and because Rosberg saw him coming and gave him room it was ok.
Massa turns in (whether or not he saw Hamilton we won't know) and its Hamiltons fault.
Not an easy one to call.

Not forgetting the one Schumi pulled on Hamilton and Hamilton gave him he space. So if Hamilton turns in on him its deemed Schumachers fault and a bad move, hamilton doesnt turn in and its a good move? Seems stupid.
Special dispensation should be given to overtaking at Monaco and the stewards should know if they want overtaking they might just end up tapping each other as you can only just fit 2 cars abreast.
