Well I thought that, but if you look at the teams he has been playing recently, Berbatov is often over looked. Still, leave us short.

Quite funny coming from you considering how many Strikers City have had stockpiled over the last few years.
Besides we only have 4 Strikers at the moment, Rooney, Hernandez, Welbeck and Berbatov which is Fergies preferred amount. Macheda got loaned out, Sicknote isn't due back till february apparently too, can't see his contract being renewed either come summer and Fergie has already stated that he is trying to find Mame Biram Diouf a new club on loan, but i can't really see him having a future here considering all the other young striking talent we have.
EDIT - Marc, I think he was being sarcastic...

He has done a job at times when called upon but he has never for filled his potential at united and i my mates who are united fans say he has been infuriating to watch 99% of the time.
Like Ben says if you flog him you then only have Rooney, P and Welbeck and Owen who cannot be relied upon unless he goes out and spends.

Not the slightest hint of sarcasm.
United don't have many proven strikers on the books. Rooney and Berbatov are the only proven ones imho. Then you have P and Welbeck one has had one good season (iirc might have been 1.5 good seasons) then been out with a number of knocks/injuries and the other is still pretty un proven and then you have Owen who is always out injured. I don't see the value in letting Berbatov go mid season but then i am not mr Ferguson.

Don't think it will TBH
Would take at least £15m and I can't see twitch spending that on a keeper in January

We should be all over, throwing Cole in on a deal would be brilliant if they could meet his wage demands.
We're supposed to be interested in David Texeira too (FC Groningen forward, Uruguay international).

the way that is misinterpreted is ridiculous
"Liverpool, well, that is a dream club. Anyone would be happy, scoring goals in front of the Kop can be the highlight of a career."
How is that

Liverpool targets always have to snub somebody else.
