Er, I guess they are ok? Tbh I can't remember how my old GSi felt on the FK's and I run H&R on my TT so it's hard to say!

Was nice and sunny after work so I put £20 in the tank and went for a drive. Not 100% happy how it's sitting at the minute, going to raise the rear slightly tomorrow as it's too low now and it's rubbing on the slightest bump. One of my plans for the winter when I won't really be using it is to get a set of 40 profiles on it, that sorted all the issues with my old one and it sat awesome..

How I want it to sit:

Oh and got caught doing 60 in a 40 on the way back and got pulled over, luckily the guy let me off

I think the front is too high if that's how your wanting the rear sat, even on your old one. For me ther needs to be an equal amount of tyre on show both front and rear.

TBH that is a really old pic of my grey one and the drive way wasn't level, it actually sat much better...

Current one will be properly setup once I have some reasonable sized tyres

Stunning photos Ian. She looks lush!! I agree with Gav the front does look a tad too high in comparrison with the rear but I'm not sure you'll be able to go down much lower with those rims without it scraping. Lovely car tho though, it looks so nice. Are there any other white ones on this forum?

Ant - yeah I can't really take the front down much more, well maybe a little but right now I can't be arsed playing with it too much, pet hate of mine is jacking up cars and removing wheels and adjusting coilovers involves doing that multiple times

They where clear rear lights, in that picture I had just started putting it back together after the repaint and it went in with the clear rears on (can't remember why tbh).

Lol fair doos. Did you say you had a spare rear bench?? I'm asking because I'm off to this place for a quote about the seats next week. Yeah I know what ya mean regarding coilover adjustment it can be a right faff. Worth it though once it's all set to how you want it

Yeah mate I think I have a rear bench up in the loft, you need one?

I'll adjust the back tomorrow and get it right, I actually had it perfect when I put the rear coilovers on, sat great and didn't rub but I ended up trying to go lower and now I have just let myself in for more work

Rears are easy as I don't need to remove the wheels or anything, fronts are a pain though so I think I will be leaving them for now

Yeah we'll I'm off to see about getting these front ones reupholstered next week so any extra patterned cloth would be a bonus. If you have a front seat aswell I'd be happy to exchange for gold coins

I do kinda agree Ian the rear does look too low, front looks right to me.

Your old grey one sits nicely in those pictures

40 profile is the way to go,45s look like balloons these days to me

Yeah, main problem I have is my driveway is on the piss so until I drive somewhere I can never actually tell how it's sitting after I have adjusted it

I'll be sorting it out this evening as I want to drive it to work tomorrow as a Friday treat to myself

I agree with what Gav is saying. White one looks like some fat tosser has been locked in the boot.

I wouldn't say it was that bad

Anyway, lifted it a little tonight, could probably raise the back another 5mm or bring the front down 5mm but for now it drives great and doesn't rub at all so that's a win for me

Not sure it really shows up in the pictures but the front dips slighty again now.

Haha same, when I tell my colleagues at work they don't get it at all. They're an acquired taste these little things I'm afraid to say, but looking at that pic who couldn't get that, looks stunning lad.
