Had a knocking at the back and a rattle in the front.

Fixed back by tightening up ARB drop links, fixed front by tightening the topmount nut on my front passenger strut

ARB links need tightening every 3 or 4 months tbh, been off loads of time. Would loctite them but I adjust them on a fairly regular basis anyway.

As for the front struts, they've been on the car about a year. Fitted by an alignment place locally, so it's probably just worked loose.

It's part of the character of the car, every now and then you need to stop it falling apart.

Ah ha. Do you drive it hard Kyle, or have to contend with bad roads?

I agree, they are coming off, i just can't get the windows open without a battery etc so leaving it until car is back on road.

I thought i liked them and was looking back through old photos and decided i don't like them.

I took that photo of it. It's not been used in a couple of days as I've been biking to work. Some more mods are definitely planned soon.

while you laugh as you dont really understand what is going on or being said here, you can only just fit the bumper over a curb, maybe 10mil clearances. so its actually not that high up. compared to my friends vans its about 1 foot lower. so yes, it is actually lowered quite a bit, yet remains useable on knackered old b roads in the lake district.
