That's great going! Out of interest is the max speed a blip? I'd be holding on for dear life at that point.

Yeah - I know the road very well and it has the advantage of having a line of sight for over 2 miles as you descend. You need to be fully on it at that speed, head tucked over bar, body really low and aero, elbows tucked in and i brace the top of my frame with my knees to prevent frame speed wobble. Personally I descend on the drops too -with a loose grip in case you hit a pot hole and you need to use your arms as suspension

I think so - normally shimano are little slide in ones with a grub screw fitted.. but I would get some Swiss stuff green pads off wiggle - they are far and away the best pads out there, made a big difference for me
These - http://www.wiggle.co.uk/swissstop-flash-pro-green-high-performance-pads/. They fit my ultegra and I'm pretty certain I had them on my soras too

She was not cheap! Not too complicated really, dual HSC and LSC circuits, a climb switch and rebound adjustment.

Sort of but the DBA uses only the LSC for climbing iirc where as this shock uses a whole different compression circuit with separate LSC and HSC.
