marked up and got the rear cards cut. had to be trimmed due to roll cage.
fitted.
not sure what to do with the gap left by the screen bar smashing the 6 speed centre of the gearknob.....
might aswell trim some of the carbon that was cut off to go in there
smashed it back on to the stick. looks alright. kinda vw player look to it.
acquired 2 more 15" mo's
sorted the in car entertainment out aswell.

went to see my mate slick earlier as he has got himself a new daily hack around car.
i am told it has a 150-160bhp 1.6 vti engine or something. it looks fast just being parked up. then went off to do some work on my daily hacker.
rear discs were quite a bit knackered. so were the shoes and the pads. they got changed. quite annoying job really.
spankers indeed
test the wheel fits over ok. it does so thats a bonus.
some plastic brake duct things stuck to the bottom arms i believe. irmscher part number the lot. look the business.
anti speed camera number plate works well
some nice dark shots. not that you can tell much from the engine bay pic but its missing the radiator cover and also the top of the battery bag has been ripped off previous to me owning the car. perhaps i will sort that out one day. maybe.

drilled the vacuum attachment into the turbo housing, then re fitted it to the manifold. also fitted a new oil feed with restrictor in as the turbo is a ball bearing one, fitted the water unions and attached bits of pipe, and also fitted the oil return union and joined the pipe back to the block.
all good stuff really.
hello mate that part you have fitted (drilled into your turbo) whats it called and where do i get them from thank you

used the trimmed up left overs from rear door cards to mount afr gauge in heater vent. have since trimmed it more so it fits better but it aint bad. a lot better to see than it being in the radio slot anyway. only had a 44mil hole cutter so had to use sand paper to take the hole out to 52mil. great fun.
filled the radio slot with another bit of the left over carbon so it wasnt empty. got some wiring to tidy up and shorten/extend in the footwell still sometime.
to add to the amazing wheelchair we also found a zimmerframe but that got destroyed by the tractor so there wasnt much else adam could do with the left over zimmerframe part than..........
put wheelie bars onto the wheelchair. amazing.
in vectra related news, it passed its mot on friday which is good indeed. in other corsa related news i think i need some better headlights.
word.
