Andy : I say i'm going to scrap it 'cos i'm either mad with it or probs got face on.

Car's had too much money at it just to scrap it. Imagine rolling into scrapyard with redtop and GSi kit on,they'd go bonkers!!

He isnt going to scrap it he is taking the piss, everything is off car just need bottom pulley off, i have a new seal here ready to fit.
Gaskets that needed doing were donw when it was out, didnt no crank seal was fucked so it didnt get done.
Since what he said was only a joke stop with the shit u really think he would scrap it cause of a seal?

the amount of times he said he will scrap it in the past few posts why wont people not believe what hes sayin

or not unless he wants people to say oh no dont scrap it just because of that reason

so if i go onto my thread and say im un happy with it and i mite scrap it for the next 4 days even though im constantly still working on it and doing updates would that mean im just saying it cause im pissed off or would i really be scrapping it?
Just something he is saying from been pissed off i was same i was going to strip mine a few times when converting it

Update : 08.05.2011

Today I ordered some more bits for the irritating oil leak :

-Oil pump gasket
-Front oil crank seal

Hopefully be here tomoz or thursday. Me and my dad are gonna strip belt off and oil pump tomoz night so it's ready for when they come. Really hope this sorts it out as I will have changed everything on that bottem end. Ash's gave me another rocker cover but the metal plate on inside need the threads re tapping so gonna get that done and get it sprayed up. That will stop the leak coming from crack and going all over my HT leads.

I'll hopefully have car for the weekend so I can get her cleaned and get some decent photos.

I'll learn though won't I? Should have done all this when engine was out. People did tell me but for some reason I didn't.

All I'm bothered about is it being ready for PVS.

Jamie why carry it on? I'm trying to get back on thread.

What he meant with everything off was belt cover,strutbrace,air box pipes etc not the actual belt. We wanted to take the bottem pulley of to use a packer to let engine run to see where leak was.
