No surprise they won't take £2m for him, they paid Crewe £2.25m for him 5 years ago.

One of these that has loads of potential, he is quite a tricky player, can use both feet but so far hasn't come up with the goods! I can see him going somewhere else (like Newcastle), getting a good run of games and becoming a decent player

From what i've seen he is very hit and miss. He'll have a good game then fuck off and look dogshit. Maybe that's due to not getting a run of games at United.
At 2.5m i think that's ok, at least it will bolster the squad a bit and think he is probably better than routledge

Obertan has plenty of potential, he has good games but many more bad games. He stands out at united because he is shitter than we are used to seeing.
He has lots of ability, is only young, not good enough for united but will be a good signing for Newcastle. He will play and get some confidence, he needs to put some weight on though.
