rubbish renewal through for my vectra today. last year it was £290, this year, £440. no crashes, no claims, no points or any changes to the vehicle. mental. will shop around but cant see why its gone up 150 quid. i have 8 years no claims. arse.

edit, best on money supermarket is esure at £308. still more than last year but a lot cheaper than £440 anyway. might see if flux do a 2 car policy for corsa and vectra.

if i change it down to 3rd party fire and theft, best price is £291. might stick with fully comp i reckon at 308. time to do some ringing in the morning and cancel curent policy.

mate of slicks is selling an intercooler as it wont fit whatever car he got it for. thought i would have a look at it see if it will fit corsa without too much hassle.

bit taller and more depth to it than the one i have on now. has 3" inlet and outlet compard to 2.5 that my current one has

creme egg cup for size comparrison. will give it a measure up later. looking forward to having an intercooler for a bumper i am.

johnathan has been busy doing more bodywork on his mk1 escort. its come on quite a lot since it first arrived.

cage and stuff is almost all done. has modified the rear inner arches so the wider wheels and tyres done catch as theyre 9" wide rears.

changed a headlight in irelands (pictures below with headlight) golf. he has been rollin about with a selotaped headlight. aparantly the normal thing in belfast.

ireland and the old headlight.

intercooler is actually a good bit deeper and taller than the one i have now. will fit i would say. may weld 90 degree alloy bends on to end caps to make it easier.

radio info display thing doesnt work properly in the corsa. removed it to find it had burnt out some of the board. oh well.

replace it with some more lightened and balanced carbon.

no dramas. nearly mag feature worthy.

its a creepy old tower that one.
