Thats why mine taps mate ,mine lost all its oil when out one day and tapped it knackers off and just say got it home and topped it back up and its still taps.I just put up with it now because to get the engine sweet it would cost a fortune so will just wait until its proper fucked then upgrade it then.
Anyway hope you sort it Dan,i know how your right now and its not nice

Nah it's cool Scott,me and me dad will tackle it.
You stick to going to ya meets.
Mine did die down abit when it was in 5th but changing down gears etc and lower revs it would do it again.

Not good dan
Don't just replace the shells tho. Because if the crank is scored even the slightest bit. You may or may not even feel it's scored. But either way I'd get the crank ground too to be on the safe side. I know I done it lol

Engines gotta come back out though Kie and i haven't got the money to keep chucking at it. If i just replace the shells for now it make's it abit better it's got me back on road.
If i have crank re ground then they'll be even more money to spend to get it right, like i said i ant got money all time.
I work at Morrisons, don't own it.

Getting the crank ground isn't that expensive mate, if it mucks up new bearings then they're fucked as well. I had it done when I rebuilt mine and for a little bit extra it could save you in the long run. If you don't have the money then wait until you do. It might mean you'll need a different car but I'm sure you could sort something. IMO its not worth slapping it back together if you aren't sure/happy with the state of the inside.

Losing interest atm again
Be best off taking car back off road and insuring my bro's again.

Timing out will make that noise good point! Time it to the crank not the aux pulley as that can move as I found out!
And no engine won't need to come out for that mate, depends what work you're having done. Could be an idea to insure Luke's again

Unlucky Thats what happens when you drive an engine starved of oil though
Get it out, you'll have it out in a day now you've already done it all once!
