Prioritiesshould be to buy established names, buying for the future clearly isn't working for you!

I think Enrique will go right at the end of this window unfortunately as Pardew has said there has been no bids yet for him.
Obertan will be announced in the morning.

Wenger you utter utter cunt. £15m for an unproven 17 year old WINGER. Completley the opposite of what we need. You fucking joker. Lost for words.

I actually think the signing is a good one for Arsenal, or at least it would have been if they would have bought a Goalkeeper, a LB, 2 x CB, 2 x Senior Midfielders etc first.

I find the signing absolutely and utterly baffling. It's as if he has one set way of thinking and he's taken it too far.
When he was signing guys like; Henry, Overmars, Petit, Viera etc etc etc he was buying quality and it showed in the cups won not buying over priced potential, waiting for it to blossom and then punting it.

He does seem to have lost the plot, it appears as though everyone else can see the benefit of at least buying a few more experienced players. I don't think he can/will admit defeat and sign a proven player now as it'd hurt his ego. The biggest thing Arsenal are missing is a winning mentality, they aren't going to get that without some leaders and a plan b.

He likes to leave it until deadline day so the attentions all on him. Not enough that the saggy faced, corrupt, bellend is in 2/3 different papaers regularly talking about other teams transfers, talking his team down, sitting in his car calling everyone elses players 'triffic to sky etc. No, no, must wheel and deal on deadline day too.

Good post summarising Wenger from a poster on one of our sites:
You don't need to be a visionary to see that Wenger's approach in the transfer-market wasn't and still isn't working. What he has basically been doing the last few seasons is that he has nurtured young players until they're good enough to get fed up winning fuck all and leave. He then replaces them with kids who are mostly not ready to assume responsibility. There is nothing visionary about that. It's a misguided approach. Couple that with shipping out everyone who's turning 30 and you're left with a bunch of bottlers playing nice football over a certain period of time, but then throwing it all away in a month.
Wenger has done a great job at Arsenal in his first few years, but recently he's somehow become the grandpa who's sitting in his corner, mumbling about how everything is fucked up nowadays and nobody takes him seriously. This has nothing to do with what football has become or how it has developed. It has to do with the most basic rules of football that have been there and will always be there. You need balance in your team and you can't replace grown men with kids and expect them to behave like men...
