Bug bear of mine for the few months, takes 10x as long and crashes/loads slow too to top it off. Shame about the write up though.

None of the cars running 9s or less in Europe have them like that, hence the question.

tbh ive not had any trouble with it , but its somethibg i need to look into , ive spoke to a few companys about custom made boxes but they all want 6k plus and wont guarantee that it will last with my power , prob going to look into using another box of another car over the next few months to do over winter time

the wheels are made for a civic as they come from the states as they dont no what a corsa is over there, didnt know the ofset would put them this much out the arch but as possy said it will help the car at high speed

yes, some comps require the car to be road legal with a mot , but it prob wont get driven on the road now as its just not fun on the road,

think people are saying they dont like the look of it simply because its not what they are used to looking at.
people do it with every new car that comes out these days. it mite take some getting used to but at the end of the day it was built for a purpose, to go fast and we cant argue that it does that.

nice work mate

Looks absolutely spot on lad, built for purpose & it'll certainly serve its purpose well. I can see low 9's being run before the end of the year.

One thing I would change is getting a ser of arches made for the back to cover the skinnies, would look epic then. Proper race car like. But that's only a thought, I don't want you or Possy squaring up to me cause yous are big bastards!

I'm not gonna lie, I preferred the road going look, it's more 'sleeper' sort of thing? Nobody would expect it to be so fast!

But I completely understand why you've done it, you've gone all out rather than trying to keep it road going, and that I can relate too. Look forwards to seeing what times you get this weekend

Loving all the road driving comments, race fuel isn't £1.30 a litre lmao.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I would of thought nitrous would possibly lead to unreliability issues.

Plus if you already had over 600 ponies under your right would you really need that extra bit?

I mean its got that much power it simply says fuck off to an alternator belt once a month lol

Can you not get the rears lathed a bit so they sit in a bit, then run a tad camber or arches on the rear?

I think its the rear ride height most dislike

No the wheels are very thin already so cAnt take anythink of them, nos Is a option but I'm going to see what sore of terminal speeds I'm doing over the quater mile and see if I need it then, race fuel works out to be about £6.50 a liter so that's one reason I won't be using it on the road

I reckon the only way you'd get them under the arches would be a narrowed beam but that's a pain in the arse!

Edit - what was your best time from last year?
