I recorded all 3.

The Hobbit : An Unexpected Journey - 8/10

Bit long, and some scenes were definitely strung out. Visually it looked stunning and kept the books humour. I wasn't sure about Martin Freeman being Bilbo before I saw it but as the film went on I warmed to him. A lot more lighter hearted than LoTR and not as dark, but that was to be expected as it is a childrens story. Long at 2h 50 too. Still, I am not sure how they are going to make it last another 6 hours.

Sherlock Homes : A Game of Shadows - 5/10

Nothing like the first, complicated storyline and didn't really hold your attention.

Great film but far too depressing. Can't say I really 'enjoyed' watching this

Life of Pi 3D - visually stunning and much, much better than Avatar.

Works on a number of levels but at face value it's a good story and enjoyable to watch. Especially if you like animals. 8/10

John Carter - 5/10

Terrible. Feels like it was supposed to be an hour longer, and they just rushed through the story.
The action was alright, but most of the dialogue was devastated by two useless main characters.
Most of the supporting characters were great and if the film had revolved more or solely around the Tharks it would have been much more interesting.
I did like the ending.

Looper - 8/10

JGL's ridic face prosthetics that made him look no more similar to Willis than his normal face aside, great film. Felt like it ended a little early though, and def no 'modern matrix' lol

Flight - 6/10

Long winded and dull. he liked booze and coke, and that was it If id known that was it in the film, id have stopped watching after the crash

Agreed with Robbo, beginning was good but after that it was really slow and nothing that i was expecting. I usually love Denzel films and had really high hopes for this but was really disappointed.
