first brakes were a big discs kit for the cav gsi brakes think they were about 280mm, were very good actually!

finally some new bits (again) so i start to build it back up (again) ,

how most of the engine loks at the minute


featureing a z,let oil pump and pipe.

What you replacing? New block, new pistons or just new rings and a hone?

You have to slightly modify the bottom of the backplate for the cambelt at the bottom because of the shape of the z20let oil pump!

block , 1 piston and set of rings for the other 3

yeah so ive heard, and drill holes in sump for the bigger bolts and a spacer for back plate.

well its built and it still has a breathing problem .. totally and utterly lost intrest now and im not putting any more money into it

car runs fine, drive fine , just breaths heavy

cant be bothered , ive spent best part of 3k if not more on it this year thats 2 short blocks and other little bits. last year it had around 2k spent on it .. 5k in 2 years and nothing to show for it . properly fvcked off.

twice ive dipped into house deposit money for it , it can fvckoff if im doing it again.

Shame you got to this point. I was pissed off with mine too as everything seem to go wrong and I spent a fortune on it believe me. A number of times I nearly gave up but carried on and went for my feature and glad I did. Horrible feeling the way you do mate I've been there many times

well there were bets happening at work that i wouldnt sell it and they were right .. so its in bits yet again so nothing new to show of it but we had a couple of things in at work one which made me laugh.

first the lambo replica . which looked more real than i thought it would





and the thing that made me laugh was the owner of this towing eye decided to fit a subaru to it.
