The thing that comes off the exhaust manifold is the SAI system. The EGR is done throught the cylinder head so the exhaust gas comes straight from there, through the lower inlet manifold, into the throttle body mounting bracket and then into the throttle body!
The option therefore is to blank where the throttle body bracket was fitted or run a pipe from there to the new inlet manifold.

Yes all the parts are included, you do not need the ecu remapped to blank the EGR- just keep the wiring plug connected to the valve.
Technically the only proper way to do it is to weld up the channels in the cylinder head of the X14XE / X16XE or use a cylinder head from a C16XE.
That said, blanking it off is a good enough compromise

You dont need to modify the lower inlet- I supply a plate that bolts on to where the throttle body bracket was bolted and it has a threaded fitting in it which connects to the new upper inlet manifold.
In short, all the bits are there to retain the EGR if you wish to do so and it is completely bolt on.
Alternatively if you want to blank it off then I supply a blanking plate and a bung for the new upper inlet manifold.

I found that blanking it off put the emissions through the roof because I have a cat bypass pipe fitted as well. I think the emissions are ok if it is blanked and the cat is still there.
In theory it might run a little better because it isnt sucking exhaust gas back into the inlet but in practice there is very little difference. A lot of people prefer to blank it for aesthetics as it looks a bit better blanked off.
I look forward to hearing how you get on Colin!

The EML will come on anyway from time to time- even when a genuine Mantzel is fitted the EML will go on and off but it doesnt affect the way the engine runs

got it fitted... their is an air leak between the inlet and throttle body.. so took it apart again gonna put some gasket seal on tomorrow.. obviously i still took it a run... lol no flat spots, feels like it wants to keep revving. you can feel the difference... quite impressed. worth the money

Im glad you are pleased colin, it just shows how much Vauxhall blunted the performance when they fitted that tortureous original manifold!

I should still have some next week, the extra bits you need are some sealant which you can get from any autoparts store and the manifold gaskets from Vauxhall if you wish to change all 3.
The part numbers are 90412736, 90470434 and 90470101
