I wanted to fit EPAS into mine, but I couldn't get the column up into the dash without actually ripping it apart, so gave up. Trying to flog my column to my brother now . On eBay they sell a little box with an adjusting dial so you can set how much assistance you get from the EPAS unit.

The brackets are completely different, so some of the holes don't appear to line up, but at a guess if you can get a 1.2 16v/1.0 12v dash support bar they would line up fine. But make sure you fit it with the dash out as I'm not sure whether it is possible or not with the dash in the car.

TBH, its not bother turning the steering wheel with no power steering anyway. If you are rolling slowly the wheels turn fine and its bad for the rack and tyres if you turn them when stationary anyway lol

Lol, true. For all the hassle it would cause me I'm more than happy to just live with it as its not as bad as people make out.

c20let workshop manual i have in pdf format on my pc shaun...
its getting there..
need strip the engine right down sort it out.
i told you it was coscast when i drove it to the garage lol.
what you been up to anyway mate?
you going to be running 2.5" boost pipes? we are getting a TIG soon so will sort the boost pipes/downpipe out at some point properly.
how did you measure the intercooler up for size? you need to measure the width in between the 2 chassis legs (where the rad sits) and the cooler needs an overal length about 5inches less than the width of the chassis legs. that make sense lol?

well will be stripped 1st and sent to local engine builders for them to check the bores etc and then will get it rebuilt
will speak to them about porting the head etc as he does alot of work to minis, if its not stupid expensive then maybe worth doing.
considering fitting arp headstud kit aswell as the conrod bolts...

forget about the head, it desnt really need touching. there aint really anyone down here to get i ported other than John Reed but your talking alot of money..
could do arp headstuds, just means you dont have to buy new hedbolts everytime u take the head off.
going to take turners LET out over the weekend and strip that down ready fro a rebuild.
picking up the xe aswell on sunday..
you want an xe inlet cam shaun. and really you should get under piston cooling sorted (oil squirters)
the intercooler. you need to measure it mate. if its too long its useless for the corsa. you need the boost pipes going into the engine bay through the apeture where the rad sits. pipes going past either side of the rad.
if its too long it will end up looking shit because the pipes will go around the chasis legs. meaning the will be a couple feet longer with a couple more restrictive bends. and this also means that you cant run the std gsi fog lights as the boost pipes will be completely in the way...
